Research: My research work deals with a comprehensive study of electrostatic interactions in macromolecular self-assembly using molecular dynamics simulation methods and self-assembly experiments. The scope of  thesis involves unifying complex concepts from soft materials, polymer physics, electrostatics and scientific computing. At this stage, I am focusing on the self-assembly of graphene and carbon nanotubes using polyelectrolytes, as these constituents provide exceptional physical, electrical, and surface properties, and their hybrid nanostructure are proven to be showing synergistic effect. They prove to be extensively useful in the field like energy storage, and wastewater treatments. An in-depth study of the electrostatic interactions working in formation of these hybrid nanostructures will provide insights into developing more complex and functional nanostructures.
